The prestigious private gated  community is also home to the iconic Seminole Golf Club. Consistently ranked among the top 25 golf clubs in the world, and was founded in 1929 by E.F. Hutton who commissioned legend Donald Ross to design a golf course for the corporate elite. Since its establishment, the club’s roster of members has included only the most prominent personalities in history. Presidents, royalty, and titans of the industry have all walked its manicured greens. The 1947 membership alone included Joseph P. Kennedy, Henry Ford II, Jack Chrysler, and Robert Vanderbilt.

After World War II, Dick Wilson was commissioned to rebuild the greens and more recently, Brian Silva was tapped to restore the bunkers and bring back the historical nature of the course. Today, the Seminole Golf Club has just over 300 members.

One interesting feature of Seminole Golf Club is its famed locker room. The club has a massive locker room that features plenty of wood, comfortable seating and a big fireplace at the end of the room. Hunting trophies are conspicuously displayed as well as wooden boards that list the names of past champions. Picture taking and cameras are not allowed in the premises.
